The 21st release in Barbados distillery Foursquare's Exceptional Cask Selection is a 2010-vintage single blended rum that was matured in an American white oak ex-bourbon cask for 12 years.
Aromas of raisins, dried figs, dark chocolate, butterscotch, earthy sage, marzipan and pineapple fill the nose, complemented by notes of sultanas, toffee, salted caramel, Seville orange, ripe mango, Victoria plum, bitter coffee, dark chocolate and black pepper throughout the palate and lingering in the finish.
